Kevin Glassman, MD
Board Certified Anesthesiologist, Fellow of the American Society of Anesthesiology

Dr. Glassman is a graduate of SUNY Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, N.Y. He continued his training in anesthesiology at Kings County Hospital, a major trauma center situated in Brooklyn, NY. Upon completion of his training, he stayed at Kings County Hospital as an attending physician for several years, and later was named the Chief of the obstetrical anesthesia division of Kings County Hospital. After receiving his board certification in anesthesiology, Dr. Glassman then joined the anesthesia staff of the Long Island Jewish Medical Center, where he remained for several years, before becoming chief of anesthesiology and medical director of Prohealth Ambulatory Surgery Center in Lake Success, N.Y. Dr. Glassman then founded General Anesthesia Services, LLP in 2003 and has remained the managing partner through 8/2019. He joined the Northwell Health Anesthesia Department in January 2020 where he is still a member of their staff and co-founded General Anesthesia Medical Specialists in June 2020. Dr. Glassman is a member of the ASA, NYSSA, MSSNY, and politically active in the medical community within NY State.

Jannette K Hogshire, MD
Board Certified Anesthesiologist

Dr. Hogshire is a graduate of Indiana University School of Medicine.  She continued her training in anesthesiology at Indiana University Medical Center, a level IV tertiary care center in Indianapolis, IN, from 1996-2000. Upon completion of her training, she joined the anesthesia department of Community Hospital Network in Indianapolis, allowing for an expansive practice. From 2004-2020 she worked exclusively in a dynamic 23-hour multi-specialty ambulatory surgery center. Dr. Hogshire is accomplished in difficult airway maxillofacial, otolaryngology and cosmetic surgical anesthesia with extensive experience in the pediatric age group.  She is proficient in sedation cases of all depths, regional anesthesia and ultrasound guided trans abdominal planar blocks for all laparoscopy. She is American Board of Anesthesiology certified with ABA MOCA recertification and is an active member of the ASA.

Kurien Thomas, MD
Board Certified Anesthesiologist

Dr. Thomas is a graduate of the University of Jos / Bachelor of Medicine/Surgery: June 1980 - June 1986, Jos, Nigeria and the Johns Hopkins University / Masters in Public Health: July 1989 - July 1990 Baltimore, Maryland.

Dr. Thomas has been an attending physician at the Lenox Hill Hospital in NYC for the past 25 year, joining our practice in 2023. He brings with him a wealth of knowledge from over 3 decades of practice in the private setting. Dr. Thomas is board certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology and has been an active member of the ASA and the NYSSA.
